Introduction

The admin settings for your WORLD are essentially where you make any changes to the initial configuration you set up when launching your WORLD. This includes stuff like editing the WORLD name and description, color theme, monetization config, and more.

Accessing Admin Settings:

To access your WORLD admin settings:

1. From your WORLD's home tab, open the World Sidebar (top right menu icon)

2. Tap the 3-dot options menu beside your WORLD

3. Tap "Admin" to open your WORLD's admin panel

4. Scroll down to the "Settings" section of the admin menu

World Details

Edit the WORLD details on this menu screen. Here you can make changes to the World icon*, Name, Video Trailer, Description, Category Tags, and color theme (coming soon).

*Changing the WORLD icon will not change the home screen icon for any member who has your WORLD installed to their phone. They would need to re-install the WORLD after you update to the new icon, for the new icon to show on their phone's home screen.

Visibility

Modify the visibility settings of your WORLD here. (eg. Change from "hidden" to "visible")

Please note: If you make your WORLD visible at any point, all of the existing content and activity that was create while your WORLD was set to private will now be visible for any new members that join.

Home Feed

The Home Feed settings allow you to set permissions like "allowing members to post" or "allowing comments" — some Creators want to use their WORLDs home feed as an announcement board so they choose to disable stuff like "allow posts by members?".

You can also choose how you want content in your home feed sorted. "Surprise me" prioritizes higher engaging posts (similar to the "For You" tab on X. "Chronological" lists all posts by their post date (starting with most recent) — this is useful if you are using the home feed as your own announcement or premium content board for your fans, and you always want them to see the latest content first.

Monetization

Change your WORLD's Monetization settings on this page.

Messenger

The Messenger settings allow you to configure specific permissions around messaging in your WORLD. Here you can choose to enable other's to create group chats, or reserve that capability only for you, as the WORLD creator.
