Introduction

As a verified Creator, you can accept tips from your fans right off your profile, or inside Calaxy Messenger (via the Action Menu > Tip). Tips are a great way for fans to add a little something extra to your pocket.

🪙 Enabling Tips

To enable Tips, do the following:

1. From your own profile, tap "Manage My Shop" (or "Setup Shop" if you haven't enable any products yet)

2. In the Tips section, flip the switch beside "Accept Tips?" to turn tipping on

Congrats! Fans can now tip you.

🪙 Accepting Tips

Fans can tip you:

1. Directly from your profile.

   1. When you have tips enabled, fans will see a little "tip" icon beside "Message" and "Follow" icons above your "Following / Followers" display.

2. From within Messenger

   1. Fans can send you a tip through DMs when chatting with you.

      1. They will tap the "action" button beside the message composer and select "tip" to send you a tip through DMs.

What currencies can a fan tip me in?

Currently, fans can tip you in $USDC (crypto) on any supported network. We plan to add additional currencies soon.

Are tips refundable?

Calaxy does not officially support refunds on tips, but you can choose to text the tip back to the fan if you decide its the appropriate move. Totally up to you.

Are there any platform fees charged on tips?

Tips are subject to a 10% platform fee.

Is there a maximum tip size?

Nope! If a fan wants to tip you 1 million $USDC, that is their call.
