Introduction

When you sell a Service or Experience to a fan, you need to complete the job in order to get paid. Jobs queue into the Messenger > Jobs tab which list all outstanding paid gigs. Each job lives inside a 1:1 chat with the buyer (fan) in a special message box, containing the instructions to unlock the payout.

The best way to think about the Jobs tab is: a money-good, book of business. 💵 Fans pre-pay for services and experiences that show up on this board, so the payout amounts you see for each job is already out the fans hands, sitting in a secure escrow account until you either complete the job, or cancel.

Jobs Tab In Messenger

A few things to know about the Jobs tab in Calaxy Messenger:

• The sub tabs allow you to filter jobs by type (eg. Video Calls, Video Messages)

• The "pending amount" at the top of the Jobs board represents how much money you will unlock if you complete all jobs on the board. All of this money is already in escrow - waiting for you to unlock it once you complete the jobs.

• You can sort jobs by:

  • Newest

  • Oldest

  • Payout Amount

  • Expiring Soon (jobs with the shortest time to expiry, so you don't miss them)

• Any timer you see on a job represents time to expiry. You need to complete jobs before they expire, or they will automatically be cancelled and the fan will be refunded

• The blue $$ amount attached to each job represents its payout. This is the amount you will get paid instantly, when you complete the job

✅ Completing Jobs

1. Tap any job on the Jobs tab to view the job inside.

2. You will be brought into a 1:1 chat with the fan. The entire job lifecycle — from request to completion — happens in this chat.

3. The job details panel will provide instructions on completing the job.
